Nordic Ski Youth Programs
There is a wide variety of programs available for youth of all ages, from literally birth to high school, with the goal of developing and nurturing a life-long love and enthusiasm of cross-country skiing. From recreational programs to competitive race teams, groomed trails to backcountry powder, there is fun and adventure for children of all ages and abilities taking place on over 400km of ski trails in our White Mountain region.

Great Glen Trails – Programs have included Bill Koch Ski Program on Sunday afternoons and hosting school races
- Bill Koch League – January 5 – March 9, 2025
Every Sunday from 1:30 – 3:30 pm for 1st through 8th graders.
Bill Koch League (BKL), is a regional youth ski program for kids in first through eighth grade. We emphasize having fun, making new friends, and learning and improving skills all while sliding on snow.
Bear Notch Ski Touring – Programs have included hosting school races, ESSC Program and Bartlett Recreation Program

Bretton Woods Nordic Center – Programs have included hosting school races

NH Nordic Coaches Association –
The New Hampshire Nordic Coaches Association (NHNCA) is an organization dedicated to supporting the sport of nordic skiing for New Hampshire middle school and high school students. With ever-increasing costs and limited funds available through our schools, the association strives to help defray the costs of competition to our young skiers and their teams. Every winter the NHNCA organizes the NH Race Series, arguably the country’s premier high school nordic race series.

New England Nordic Ski Association –
The New England Nordic Ski Association (NENSA) is the umbrella organization for Nordic skiing events in the region. They are a member-supported service organization that promotes the culture of cross-country skiing by creating opportunities for youth, athletes, coaches, officials and skiers of all levels. NENSA provides the support structure necessary to bring cross-country skiers to their highest potential at regional, national and international events.
